1. Services
Greenhithe Boilers (trading as Thames Boilers) provides Gas Safe registered heating and boiler services including repairs, servicing, installations, and maintenance.
2. Appointments
Appointments must be booked in advance. We will provide an estimated arrival time and will notify you if delays occur. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice where possible.
3. Pricing and Payment
- We provide transparent, fixed pricing where possible
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
- Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
- We accept cash, bank transfer, and major debit/credit cards
- Additional work discovered during service may incur extra charges, which will be discussed with you first
4. Guarantees and Warranties
We provide a 12-month guarantee on parts and labor for most services. Manufacturer warranties apply to new equipment installations. Our guarantee does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse or neglect
- Normal wear and tear
- Issues arising from work performed by third parties
- Failure to follow recommended maintenance schedules
5. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing safe access to heating equipment
- Ensuring pets are secured during visits
- Informing us of any known hazards or issues
- Following recommended maintenance schedules
- Providing accurate information about your heating system
6. Gas Safety
All work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers (Registration: 515374). If we identify any gas safety concerns, we are legally obligated to take appropriate action, which may include disconnecting unsafe appliances.
7. Liability
We maintain appropriate insurance coverage. Our liability is limited to the cost of remedying defective work. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing defects or damage
- Consequential losses unless caused by our negligence
- Delays caused by factors outside our control
